The origin
The first deed
The farm grew out of the successive divisions of a single estate, the Fazenda do Socorro. The first deed dates from 1775 and, ever since, the land has never left the family.
Today's owners are the sixth and seventh generations. Management is almost entirely run by the family, with just one employee. Here we raise beef cattle and sheep, and we grow apples in the orchard, small vegetable gardens and, more recently, rural tourism.
From here, the countryside goes on and on.
Our essence
A way of welcoming that feels like home.
We are a family environment that welcomes visitors and offers experiences in nature and simple country life, keeping the culture of the Serra alive with a touch of modernity.
It all began when a TV show was filmed here and brought many people to the farm. We saw an opportunity and adapted the buildings we already had to welcome guests.
In the Santa Bárbara area, 12 kilometers from the center of Bom Jardim da Serra, we welcome visitors who come to see the north side of the Laranjeiras Canyon, to rest and to feel the daily rhythm of a family property up close. The visit also takes in the apple orchard and the highland barn, more than 80 years old.
